Boddingtons have successfully developed a new improved GrassProtecta™ grass reinforcement mesh that incorporates all the properties of the current product with the added benefit of a slip resistant mesh structure. Current products on the market are perfect for producing reinforced grass surfaces for multiple applications including grass car-parks, access routes, wheelchair paths and footpaths if the mesh is installed and given time to grow to create an interlock with the mesh filaments.

Experience shows us that this period of time is not always available and that in most installations the area is used immediately. This causes problems with the existing diamond mesh structure as the straight filaments create a slip line when the mesh gets wet which can cause a hazard for pedestrians with slips causing possible injuries.

Boddingtons technical team have developed an oscillated ‘wave’ structure which ensures that this slip line is broken, and therefore gives the product added slip resistance. All other technical details of the product remain unchanged. Added benefits include :
