BodPave® has been installed at Coolings
Nurseries at Knockholt, Kent. The requirement
was for over 1000m² of additional customer
car parking. The customer required that the new
car park was required to be fully grassed, ensuring
that the natural environment was not affected
and that the appearance of the area remained
unchanged - BodPave® grass pavers offered
the perfect solution. The pavers allow full grass
growth through their cells, with full natural
drainage whilst stabilising the surface for regular
vehicle usage. |

BodPave® grids were installed
onto an existing well drained grassed surface
that was reinforced by a mesh geogrid. The
grids were quickly installed by utilising their
unique tap root and loop linking system onto
the level surface. The BodPave® hexagonal
cells were filled with topsoil and compost and
lightly rolled to ensure the grids bonded securely
to the sub-base. The topsoil was seeded to promote
fast grass growth for the car parking bay areas,
while the main traffic entrance to the car park
was filled with angular gravel. |
