Aluminium Foil detectatape is a printed coloured plastic strip of detectable aluminium foil tape, permanently bonded between two layers of rot resistant plastic to prevent corrosion and increase its tensile strength.

• Easily located using cable locators by direct connection
• Specially manufactured texts can be manufactured to order

Aluminium foil is a traceable detectable tape for marking underground pipes and cables.

To ensure a continuous signal along the tape, it is important to use our crimps
and crimping tool. This gives the join sufficient strength to cope with most back fills.
If not installed correctly then the signal may not pass from join to join.
