Acorn Tree Planting Ltd is a division of Boddingtons Ltd, dedicated to the design and manufacture of innovative plastic mesh and spiral tree shelters. Tree Shelters, treeguards and spiral guards are used to protect young trees, single-stemmed seedlings and transplants from damage caused by animals ranging from rabbits to deer. Our Acorn range of tree protection guards include standard spiral tree guards, plastic mesh tree guards and tree shelters which are manufactured by co-extruding mesh and film to produce a guard that can create its own micro-climate around the tree.

Acorn Planting Products was the first company to manufacture nesting, pre-formed treeshelter tubes as well as being the first manufacturer of transparent spiral shelters. This innovation is continually developing within the Boddingtons group with the recent introduction of biodegradeable tree shelters.

We also manufacture a large range of tree ties, plastic fixing pegs and supply a vast range of canes, wooden stakes, mulching materials / mats.
